The rain should hold off for the rest of the weekend.

The National Weather predicted showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 3 a.m., followed by a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
"Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall," according to the National Weather Service forecast, which also called for patchy fog.

But the next day, Halloween, is expected to be mostly sunny with a high temperature near 59 degrees.
Other than some clouds Friday night, the weekend is expected to be sunny and clear with highs in the 50s.

More rain was in the forecast for Monday night, continuing into Tuesday morning.
