Troopers Nab Wanted Maryland Man: Cops

The Maryland man was arrested eight days earlier on a warrant out of Pennsylvania, police said.

A wanted Maryland man was captured Wednesday, police said.

Breissy Rodas Andino, 32, was arrested by the Rhode Island State Police Adult Correctional Institutions Unit, the state police said in a media release.

Andino, a resident of Gwynn Oak, was wanted as a fugitive from justice in Maryland, according to the release.

"Mr. Andino was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he did not waive extradition proceedings," the release said. "Mr. Andino was issued $100,000 double surety and remanded to the ACI."

The state police also arrested Andino Dec. 9, according to a media release.

Breissy Rodas Andino, 32, was wanted in Pennsylvania on charges forgery, theft by deception, bad checks, and forgery and counterfeiting of registration plates, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Andino was arrested after he was pulled over on Interstate 95 in East Providence, according to the release.
