Johnston Man Possessed Child Pornography: Police

The Johnston man was arrested by the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, police said.

JOHNSTON, RI — A Johnston man was charged with possessing child pornography, police said.

Ryan Lees, 19, was arrested Friday by the Rhode Island State Police Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the state police said in a media release.

Lees was processed at State Police Headquarters and arraigned in the Third Division District Court, according to the release.

Lees was released on his own recognizance "with the special conditions of limited internet access and no unsupervised contact with minors," the release said.
