MA Man Killed By Tractor-Trailer In Hopkinton Crash
Investigators say the victim was walking from his broken down vehicle, when he was hit by a tractor trailer.
HOPKINTON, RI — Rhode Island State Police identified the Brockton, Massachusetts man who died Saturday after being hit by a tractor trailer on I-95 in Hopkinton.
State Police said the crash victim was Wayne Barnes, 27. Investigators say Barnes was walking from his broken down vehicle, when he was hit by a tractor trailer around 1:30 a.m. on I-95 southbound between exits 2 and 3.
Barnes was pronounced dead at the scene, State Police said.

Police said the crash is still under investigation, but the tractor trailer driver is not facing charges.
