Married RI Couple Dies In Seekonk Crash
The couple was hit by a Jeep while trying to drive across Route 44, authorities said.
SEEKONK, MA — A married couple from Rhode Island died in a crash Tuesday in Seekonk, Massachusetts, according to authorities.
The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office identified the crash victims as Robert Langevin, 70, and Winifred Langevin, 70, both of Pawtucket.
The crash happened around 6 p.m. at the intersection with Route 44 in Seekonk. Authorities told NECN Robert Langevin was stopped at a stop sign and tried to cross Route 44, when his Corvette was struck by a Jeep. The husband died in the hospital, while the wife was ruled dead at the scene.
