'Overdose Spike Alert' In Rhode Island: Health Department
The Rhode Island Department of Health issued an overdose spike alert.
The Rhode Island Department of Health issued an overdose spike alert.
The alert was for increased drug overdose activity from Aug. 26 through Monday in Cumberland, Lincoln, Smithfield and North Smithfield.
"These alerts are issued when a Rhode Island municipality or region has more non-fatal overdoses than usual in a week," department of health posted on Facebook.
