Providence College Women’s Hockey Team Returns To Hockey East play
The Friars face off against the University of Maine Black Bears this weekend.
PROVIDENCE, RI — The Providence College women’s hockey team returns to Hockey East play this weekend when they host the University of Maine Black Bears.
The Friars host the Black Bears Friday at 2 p.m.and 3 p.m.
Providence split last weekend’s series against the University of St. Thomas at Lee & Penny Anderson Arena in Saint Paul, Minnesota. On Friday, the Friars won 7-6 in overtime behind senior Reichen Kirchmair’s four goals, including the game-winner.

On Saturday, Providence lost 5-1. Freshman defenseman Bella Paolucci in the defeat.
