Providence Sexual Assaulter Arrested On 5 Warrants: Cops
The Providence man failed to appear in court, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was arrested on five warrants charging him with failing to appear in court, including for his sentencing for a sexual assault, police said.
Luis Hernandez, 40, also missed court for a breaking and entering case, sentencing in breaking and entering cases, and a possession of a controlled substance case, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Luis was arrested during a traffic stop on Broad Street in Providence shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday, according to the release.

"Hernandez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center," the release said.
