Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency Holding Blood Drive
The event will be at the Warwick Mall.
WARWICK, RI — The Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency is holding its third annual Preparedness Month Blood Drive on Friday.
The event is at the Warwick Mall from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, United Way 2-1-1, the Rhode Island Department of Health and Community Emergency Response Teams will have informational booths at the blood drive, according to a media release.

"These partners will provide important safety and preparedness resources while supporting the Rhode Island Blood Center's mission," the release said.
"In the United States, someone needs blood every two seconds, according to the release. "Donating not only saves lives but also helps ensure hospitals have the supplies they need for emergencies, surgeries, and routine care."
