Rhode Island In For A Freezing Night

Temperatures will plummet into the low teens Thursday night and winds will gust up to 37 mph, the National Weather Service predicts.

The low temperature of 13 degrees follows a windy day with gusts up to 28 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

Following a freezing Thursday night, temperatures will climb back to 33 degrees and the wind will die down to about 6 mph.

But Friday night brings a chance of snow after 8 p.m. followed by freezing rain with a low around 24 degrees.

Saturday will warm up again with a high near 43 degrees but the chance of precipitation is 40%, according to the National Weather Service.
