Rhode Island Gov. McKee Touts Ocean State For Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce Wedding

Rhode Island Gov. Dan McKee has an idea for the impending Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce nuptials.

"Rhode Island has some of the best wedding venues in the world, just saying," the governor posted on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

McKee's suggestion was written as a caption to a repost of the NFL congratulating the pop megastar and the Kansas City Chiefs' standout tight end.

Swift announced she planned to wed Kelce in a Tuesday Instagram post, which featured photos of the couple, who are both 35.

She captioned the post, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married."

Swift owns a Rhode Island mansion, purchasing the Watch Hill property for $17.75 million in 2013.
