PROVIDENCE, RI — Rep. Jason Knight was honored Thursday by the Rhode Island State Council of Churches for his work to reduce gun violence.
Knight, D-Barrington, Warren, was honored at the council’s Heroes of Faith 2025 breakfast at Temple Beth El in Providence. The honor was a special recognition, outside the awards the council presents annually, to recognize Representative Knight’s legislative efforts over many years.
“The Rhode Island State Council of Churches is honoring Representative Jason Knight for his faithful service in advancing the cause of compassion and peace,” Rhode Island State Council of Churches Executive Minister Jeremy Langill said in a media release.
