Rhode Island State Cops, DEA Take Down 2 For Trafficking Dangerous Drugs: Police

The Rhode Island State Police said they were engaged in a joint investigation with the Drug Enforcement Administration.

The Rhode Island State Police said they engaged in a joint investigation with the Drug Enforcement Administration to take down a man and woman on charges of trafficking dangerous drugs.

Kyle Lemay, 25, of Fort Myers, Florida, and Marissa Michaeles, 36, of Northborough, Massachusetts, were arrested Friday on federal warrants charging them with trafficking dangerous drugs, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

There is no record of criminal charges against Lemay or Michaeles in the federal court case locator.

Lemay and Michaeles were both "taken into custody without incident and transported to the Providence Federal Courthouse," the release said.

The arrests of both Lemay and Michaeles were the "result of a joint investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Drug Enforcement Administration," according to the release.
