Rhode Island SVU And FBI Nab MA Child Pornographer: Cops
The Worcester man was also wanted on charges of child molestation and sexual assault, police said.
WORCESTER, MA — A wanted Massachusetts man was apprehended Tuesday by the Rhode Island State Police Special Victims Unit, police said.
Jason Vergara, 37, was wanted on charges of first-degree child molestation, possession of child pornography, production of child pornography and third-degree sexual assault, the state police said in a media release.
"Mr. Vergara was taken into custody and held in the state of Massachusetts pending extradition," the release said.
