Rhode Islanders Don't Want Doctors Replaced By AI: Survey
Doctors were the top profession Rhode Islanders did not want to see replaced with Artificial Intelligence, according to a survey.
The last profession Rhode Islanders want to see replaced by artificial intelligence is that of doctor, according to a recent survey.
"As artificial intelligence reshapes the workplace, Rhode Islanders are drawing their own moral boundary lines – and they’re much firmer than the ones in the boardroom," global software team building specialists Trio.dev said in a media release.
Trio.dev conducted a national survey of 4,012 respondent and determined "92% of Rhode Islanders believe some jobs should always remain human-led, no matter how advanced AI becomes" according to the release.

"At the top of the list? Doctors and surgeons, followed closely by eldercare workers and nurses — professions where empathy, instinct, and accountability can’t easily be written into code," the release said.
The survey put teachers fourth after nurses and judges in fifth place.
