Whitehouse, Morgan Move On To General In U.S. Senate Primaries In RI

RHODE ISLAND — Democratic U.S. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse has won his primary and will square off against Republican primary winner Patricia Morgan in November's general election, according to the Associated Press.
Whitehouse defeated Democratic primary challenger Michael Costa with a lead of 48,358-9,323 votes, according to unofficial election results.
"I work hard every single day on behalf of all Rhode Islanders, and I am honored and grateful to have their overwhelming support today," Whitehouse posted on X, the website formerly known as Twitter. "We are heading into Nov. with a strong Democratic ticket, from VP Harris on down the ballot. If voters here and across the country put their trust in Democrats, we will grow the middle class, protect democracy and leave this planet a better, safer place for our kids and grandkids."

State Rep. and Republican Minority Leader Patricia Morgan defeated Raymond McKay 12,013-6,601, according to unofficial results.
Unofficial results are in for most competitive primary races, including the U.S. Senate and the Rhode Island General Assembly. A few cities also held mayoral race primaries, including Cranston, Pawtucket, and Woonsocket. Those results are in too and can be found below.
