Snowy Weekend Ahead For Rhode Island

Rhode Island is in for some snow this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service called for snow overnight Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday night's temperature will hover around 25 degrees, according to the forecast, and there is a chance of snow after 3 a.m.

There was a 40% chance of more snow after 4 p.m. Sunday, as well as winds gusting up to 22 mph.

The winds will increase Sunday night and the temperature will drop to around 15 degrees, the National Weather Service predicts.

Leading up to the cold, windy, snowy weekend, temperatures will swing from the 20s to the 40s with rain Wednesday night, followed by clear skies, according to the National Weather Service.
