Unresponsive Man Found With Head Trauma In Woonsocket Dies: Police
The 49-year-old man was found on Pond Street, police said.
WOONSOCKET, RI — A man found unresponsive with a head injury in Woonsocket died, police said.
Officers sent to investigate a report of an unresponsive man on Pond Street between Daniels and Snow streets shortly after 6:30 a.m. Monday located 49-year-old Ryan Goulet, the Woonsocket police said in a media release.
"Mr. Goulet had trauma to his head area and was transported by rescue to Landmark Medical Center" and then to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, the release said.

Goulet died the next day, according to the release.
"The preliminary investigation indicates Mr. Goulet suffered his injuries from an accidental fall," the release said. "We are waiting for the Medical Examiner's official cause of death. The investigation is ongoing."
