5 Things to Know About This Weekend
Pleasant weather; Kids Night Out; farmers market; Tall Cedars cleanup; East Bay Beer Festival.
Here are five things you should know about in and around Barrington this weekend:
- A pleasant weekend is in store with temperatures getting up into the high 70s each day.
- The Bayside YMCA, 70 West St., hosts another Kids Night Out tonight starting at 5:30 pm; drop off your kids and enjoy an adult night out while the ‘Y’ serves up plenty of fun and snacks for your children.
- The Barrington farmers market runs on Saturday from 9 am to noon at the Barrington Congregational Church – the "White Church" – on County Road.
- The Barrington Land Conservation Trust is holding a cleanup of the Tall Cedars conservation area on Saturday morning – 10 am to noon – and is looking for volunteers to lend a hand; park at the end of Western Avenue.
- The Hopkins Center for Civil Rights, with the support of Brickyard Wine & Spirits of Barrington and The East Bay Home Brew Club, presents the first East Bay Beer Festival next to the Blount Clam Shack in Warren, 335 Water St., starting at 12 noon. Proceeds benefit the Hopkins Center and TAP-IN.
