5 Things to Know About Today
Overcast and showers; celebrate books; play Bridge; learn circus skills; Sunday hours no more.

Here are five things you should know about today in Barrington:
- Rain showers and overcast all day with temperatures near 74 degrees.
- Celebrate books and the joy of reading at Barrington library at 7:30 pm with Trinity Rep actors Anne Scurria and Barry Press, who will read from some books by favorite writers. This unique program is free and open to all.
- Play Duplicate Bridge at 6:45 pm in the Barrington Senior Center.
- Barrington Community Theater offers a Circus Skills Workshop every Monday from 5 to 7 pm at the middle school. You can learn a variety of skills, including Juggling, Hula Hoop Dancing, Poi Spinning, Stilt Walking, Unicycling, Yo-Yo tricks, and many more! $20 at the door.
- Yesterday was the final Sunday that the library will be open from 1-5 until September. The weekly summer schedule begins July 1 as follows: Monday-Thursday 9 am-8 pm; Friday & Saturday 9 am-5 pm. Library evening programs are not affected by these changes.
