Here are five things you should know about today, July 1, in and around Barrington:

  1. Showers and thunderstorms likely with a high temperature around 81 degrees.
  2. The Barrington Town Council meets at 7 pm in the School Committee Room in Town Hall.
  3. Waldo is visiting Barrington again for the entire month of July. Find him hiding in 25 businesses throughout town with a passport list at Barrington Books and redeem the cards for prizes and enter to win the BIG Waldo gift bag.
  4. Try chair yoga in the Barrington library at 9:30 am; it’s led by senior center director Louise House.
