Here are seven things you should know about in Barrington this weekend:
- Showers likely early Saturday with gusty winds but Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny with temperatures in the mid 70s.
- The Barrington farmers market opens runs Saturday from 9 am to noon at the Barrington Congregational Church – the "White Church" – on County Road.
- The Barrington Land Conservation Trust leads a science expedition for the whole family at the Johannis Farm Wildlife Preserve Saturday morning; meet at Sowams School at 10:30 am. Rain date is Sunday, June 9, at 12 noon.
- The annual Primrose Hill School carnival runs from 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday at the school on Middle Highway.
- Atria Bay Spring Village, 147 Bay Spring Ave., offers a workshop for people living with chronic disease and pain on Saturday at 9 am; call 246-2500 to reserve a seat.
- Temple Habonim, 165 New Meadow Road, presents an evening of interfaith music featuring the Prism of Praise Community Gospel Choir, on Saturday, June 8, at 7 pm.
- Barrington Presbyterian Church, 400 County Road, hosts a choral and instrumental community concert, “Musik von Handel,” on Sunday at 3 pm.
