American Idol Auditions in RI on June 18

American Idol XV is around the corner and that means the show’s producers are busy accumulating auditions.

That process comes to Providence on Thursday at the Alex and Ani City Center outdoor ice skating rink at 2 Kennedy Plaza.

Get there early. Participants are told to arrive as close to 9 a.m. as possible. Bring two forms of ID that include proof of age and a photo. You’ll also need a release form. Minors under 18 will need guardianship and medical OKs.

You can also get noticed on social media. According to producers, post a video of your singing skills on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook with the hashtag #TheNextIdol and get noticed.
