Barrington Man Charged With 2 DUIs in 2 Days
Ryan Jennings, 31, of Sowams Road, was charged with drunk driving in Bristol and Warren after motorcycle crashes.

A Barrington man was charged twice within two days for driving drunk last month. Both involved motorcycle accidents.
Ryan N. Jennings, 31, of 409 Sowams Road, was arrested first on July 30 by Bristol police after an early-afternoon motorcycle crash on Hope Street, according to the Barrington Times.
Jennings was arrested the second time on July 31 by Warren police at about 11:15 pm after Barrington police alerted them to a motorcycle driver involved in a crash who left the scene. Warren police stopped him at Main and Miller streets.

Bristol police officers said that Jennings smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet. He failed a field sobriety test, and a portable breathalyzer test showed a reading of .109 – over the legal limit of .08 in Rhode Island.Â
Jennings submitted to a Breathalyzer test in Warren as well. It reportedly showed his blood alcohol level to be over the legal limit.

Bristol police also charged him with carrying a weapon other than a firearm – a 3 ½ inch diving knife pulled from a backpack he was carrying. Warren police also cited him for operating a motorcycle without a license.
