A Barrington man turned a $10 wager into a $100,000, when his numbers revealed the diamond pattern, Rhode Island Lottery officials say.
BARRINGTON, RI — Luck was on one Rhode Island man's side recently with a big lottery win.
A Barrington man turned a $10 wager into a $100,000 Bingo Prize, when his numbers revealed the diamond pattern, Rhode Island Lottery officials said Thursday. Lottery officials said the man bought the winning ticket at the Shell gas station o 242 County Road in Barrington.
There was also some luck the next city over. An East Providence man claimed a $35,000 prize after winning on the "Patriots" instant ticket game.
