Barrington Police Recover Stolen Bike For Kid
The bike was stolen while the boy was at football practice.

BARRINGTON, RI ā A Barrington police officer caught a person that stole a boy's bike and retrieved it for him.
The boy's mother reported her son's bicycle stolen last week. She told police it happened while he was at football practice.
Officer Brendan Combes started to some internet research and tracked the bike to an online marketplace. Police said Combes agreed to meet the seller to buy the stolen bike, and when the seller showed up, Combes arrested them.

Police did not release the thief's name. They were charged with receiving stolen goods.
Combes later returned the bike to the boy.
