Barrington Special Educators Receive Awards
The Special Education Advisory Committee for the Barrington Public Schools held its 5th annual award ceremony on Tuesday, May 30.

On Tuesday May 30, the Special Education Advisory Committee for the Barrington Public Schools held their 5th annual award ceremony. Nine staff members of the Barrington schools were honored for their hard work, dedication, creativity, and expertise in serving the special needs students of the district. Honorees were: Ellen Lesiuk, Special Educator and Inclusion Teacher at Hampden Meadows School; Patty Ridlon, Reading Specialist at Sowams School; Nancy Moura and Ann Marie Canders, Bus Drivers for Mini Bus #3;Cami DiMarco, district-wide Adaptive Physical Education Instructor; Beth St Angelo, Director of Transportation; Louann Diehl, Special Education Teacher's Aide at Barrington High School; Lauren Tucciarone, Art Teacher at Barrington High School; Alison Robey, Preschool Teacher at Primrose Hill School. Those honored were nominated by students and their families, and the Special Education Advisory Committee celebrates their exceptional contributions to our district.
