BARRINGTON, RI — The Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RISPCA) is offering a $1,000 reward for anyone who can help find the person that shot and killed a dog that washed ashore at Barrington Beach last month.
RISPCA officials performed an autopsy on the dog and learned it had been shot several times. The dog was found on April 15, and it was the third dead dog to be found washed ashore in Rhode Island within a month. RISPCA investigators began looking into the dogs' deaths after the third was found.
