Farmers Market Opening for Season
The annual Barrington farmers market opens for the season tomorrow, June 1, at the Barrington Congregational Church on County Road.
You will find some good eating each Saturday until October at the "White Church" in Barrington starting tomorrow, June 1.
The Barrington farmers market returns for the 2013 season at the Barrington Congregational Church on County Road. It runs from 9 am to noon.
Dozens of vendors will be setting up outside the church's education building. Among the local products at the market in past years were fresh eggs, breads and pastries, fruits and vegetables, artisanal cheeses, meats and fish, all-natural and cage-free poultry, candy and confections, salad greens and herbs, dips and spreads, organic honey and other related products.

The vendors typically will come and go from week to week. But every week will offer up a cornucopia of fresh foods grown or prepared by local vendors.
The farmers market usually has something special every week. For the opening Saturday, for instance, La Creperie, on the East Side of Providence, will be preparing made-to-order crepes.
