Fugitive Driving Car With Too Much Tint on Windows Nabbed
'Fugitive from justice' pulled over early Friday morning by Barrington police.

Illegally tinted windows led to the arrest of a “fugitive from justice” early last Friday morning, June 21, in Barrington.
A Nissan Altima with tinted windows was traveling on County Road near Joyce Street at about 1:13 am, according to the Barrington police report. The vehicle also reportedly committed a lane violation.
Barrington Patrol Officer Walter Larson pulled over the car. He was joined by Patrol Officer Michael Gregorzek.

A criminal database check on the driver, Carlos L. Mendez, 36, of Central Falls, indicated that he was wanted on a North Attleboro, Mass., police arrest warrant. Mendez allegedly didn’t show up in court to face a larceny charge.
Mendez was arrested and taken to the Barrington police station, where he was held overnight. He was extradited to North Attleboro later Friday morning.
