Give to Support Emma at Blood Drive

Emma Katzen, 13, of Barrington has been battling a rare form of leukemia for almost two years.

Another blood drive for Emma Katzen will be held Thursday at the Barrington Middle School. It runs from 3 to 8 pm.

The Pop Warner football and cheerleading organization is sponsoring the blood drive again. Emma, 13, a Pop Warner cheerleader, has been fighting a rare form of leukemia for almost two years that has required numerous blood transfusions and chemotherapy treatments. She is in remission right now.

Look for the RI Blood Center bloodmobile at the school. By donating blood, you can show your support for Emma and help others who need blood transfusions.
