Many industries are taking the holiday the day before the holiday, since it falls on a Saturday.
BARRINGTON, RI —This July 4 will be a lot different from years past, with fireworks displays and community celebrations around the state canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In addition, the holiday falls on a Saturday, meaning many industries will be observing the day before.
In Barrington, town hall, the Department of Public Works and the public library will be closed on Monday. The library will also be closed Saturday and Sunday. The school department will be closed on Friday.
