Joseph A. Lonardo, 66, Lifelong Barrington Resident

Joseph A. Lonardo, of Barrington, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 27, 2013. He was 66.

He was the husband of Joanne (Silva) Lonardo. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Rose (Zinni) Lonardo.

Mr. Lonardo was a lifelong resident of Barrington. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 8, Knights of Columbus, Bristol Council #379, a board member of RI Association for Cardiac Children and a communicant of Holy Angels Church.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Joseph A., Jr., Jeffery and James W. Lonardo and his wife Jennifer; brother, Anthony Lonardo; grandchildren, Michael, Catherine, Jessica, Ashley, Cassie, Janel, Maisie and Kori; and great-grandchildren, Haylee and Amaya. He was the brother of the late Theresa DeCosta and Ann Marie Silveira.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, at 9 a.m. from Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main St., Warren, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., in Holy Angels Church, 341 Maple Ave., Barrington. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, July 2, from 5 to 7 p.m.
