Man, 84, Trapped Under Car Door
The man was rescued after his car apparently rolled when it wasn't placed in park before he got out; he reportedly received only some scratches.

An 84-year-old Barrington man was rescued early last week after he was trapped under the door of his car on Bay Spring Avenue. He received a few scratches.
The man apparently stepped out of the gray 2000 Buick without putting the vehicle’s transmission in park. The car rolled and knocked down the man, who ended up getting trapped under the door of the vehicle as it rolled into the street, said Barrington Police Chief John LaCross.
A woman in a nearby house heard the man screaming for help, said LaCross. Several other nearby people, police officers and EMTs responded.Â
