There will be real mix of things to do in Barrington this week.

Here are five things you should know about this week, Aug. 5-11, in Barrington:
1. The week looks mostly sunny with temperatures in the high 70s and low 80s each day; Wednesday will have some showers to dampen “hump day.”
2. The Barrington Planning Board meets at 7 pm on Tuesday, Aug. 6, in the Senior Center to make a decision on the proposed Palmer Pointe affordable housing development at Sowams Nursery in Barrington.

3. The Summer Family Film Series: I Love the ‘90s continues in the Barrington library auditorium on Tuesday, Aug. 6, at 7 pm with “Matilda,” starring Danny DeVito, Rhea Perlman, Embeth Davidtz, Pam Ferris, Brian Levinson, and Mara Wilson.
4. RI Congressman David N. Cicilline invites you to a
neighborhood conversation on Thursday, Aug. 8, at 5:30 pm at the Bristol Public Library.

5. Holy Angels church organist and choir master Nicholas Rocha and Holy Angels choir present a concert – “Hortus Conclusns” -- to include modern chorus, sacred and secular music on Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 at the church, 341 Maple Ave.; it begins with a 6:15 pm tour of the Peace Garden at Holy Angel's Church.
