New 'Student Rep' on Barrington School Board Takes Seat

Junior Timothy Connor takes over for Faith Moses as Barrington High School's representative to the School Committee.

Senior-to-be Timothy Connor has taken over from Faith Moses as the student representative to the Barrington School Committee. He attended his first meeting last Thursday, June 6.

Timothy was selected from about a dozen applicants who went through a rigorous interview process with high school teachers and staff.

He was introduced by Superintendent Michal Messore last week as active in the Science Olympiad and on the Debate Team. He also has spent a semester in Washington D.C. as a Senate page.

Timothy will represent the students through May of next year.

Faith served as the 2012-2013 student representative. Her final meeting was in May. She will enroll at Boston University this fall.
