The driver refused medical treatment from Barrington EMTs after his truck crashed into a utility pole Saturday morning.

A pickup truck incurred heavy front-end damage when it slammed into a utility pole on Saturday morning, Aug. 10, in Barrington --Â but the driver refused medical attention.
The truck was heading south on the Wampanoag Trail near Winsor Driver, said Jason Fanion of the Barrington Fire Department. The crash happened about 8:30 am and scrambled traffic for a while until the vehicle was towed and the crash site cleaned up.
A National Grid repair crew was called to the site to assess damage to the pole, said Fanion. The pole was leaning to the west after the collision, he said.
