2 Suffer Serious Injuries In Motorcycle Crash In Bristol
Bristol police say a group of motorcyclists were riding together when the crash happened. One of the bikers was charged with a DUI.
BRISTOL, RI ā Two people suffered serious injuries after a road rage incident led to two motorcycles crashing into each other, according to Bristol police.
Police said the crash happened around 10:45 p.m. at the intersection of Metacom Avenue and Annwamscutt Drive. A group of four-to-five motorcyclists were riding together when the crash happened.
Police said both motorcyclists were taken to the hospital. One of the people involved in the crash has since been released, according to police.

Another motorcyclist in the group left the scene, but he later crashed on Bayview Avenue, police said. Police said the man, identified as Jacob Mazza, 24, was treated for minor injuries. He was also arrested and charged with driving under the influence, eluding law enforcement, and obstructing an officer in the execution of duty.
Police said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
