Bank Donates $6,000 in Equipment to Warren Fire, Police

A Smithfield-based bank donated $6,000 in emergency equipment to aid the Warren Fire and Police departments. 

Navigant Credit Union, a Smithfield bank, donated automated external defibrillators and radar speed trackers to help Warren fire and police departments keep their towns safe.

President and CEO to Navigant Credit Union, Gary Furtado, joined Deputy Police Chief Joseph Loiselle and Warren Fire Chief Al Gallinelli at the East Bay 
Government Center on Thursday, Aug. 1 for a ceremony to honor the donations. 

As part of its commitment to serve the communities in which 
it operates, Navigant Credit Union donated three automated external 
defibrillators to the fire department, and one AED and two radar speed 
trackers to the police department.

This valuable equipment will help emergency responders give life-saving 
treatment to member of the Warren community who are in distress and 
allow police to monitor the town’s roadways to keep drivers and 
pedestrians safe.
