Bristol Kennel's License At Risk After Deadly Dog Attack: Report
Milo, a chihuahua-pug, mix was attacked and killed just two hours before his family was supposed to pick him up.
BRISTOL, RI — A dog kennel in Bristol may lose its license after a dog in its care died in an attack from another dog last August, according to the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (DEM).
Milo, a chihuahua-pug mix, was in the care of Leader of the Pack on Metacom Avenue in Bristol. The dog was attacked just two hours before his family was supposed to pick him up, WPRI 12 reported.
According to a Bristol police report, Milo and the other dog were outside together. When an employee turned around, she saw the other dog had Milo by the throat. She tried to separate the dogs, and give aid, but it was too late, WPRI 12 reported.
