Bristol Man Dies After Being Hit By Pickup Truck
Bristol police say the crash victim was pinned under the truck and died after being rushed to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
BRISTOL, RI — A 59-year-old man died after being hit by a pickup truck in Bristol on Monday evening, according to police.
Police said the crash happened around 5:28 p.m. in a parking lot by the intersection of Metacom and Hopeworth avenues.
The crash victim was pinned under the truck and died after being rushed to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. Police identified the victim as Mark Carroll, 59, of Bristol.

Police said the crash remains under investigation, and it's not yet clear if the driver will face charges.
