Bristol Man Stole More Than $10K: Cops

The Bristol man was investigated by the Rhode Island State Police Major Crimes Unit, police said.

BRISTOL, RI — A Bristol man stole more than $10,000, police said.

Robert Muggle, 43, was arrested by the Portsmouth police shortly before 7:30 p.m. Thursday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Muggle had been investigated by the State Police Major Crimes Unit and was wanted on a warrant charging him with obtaining more than $10,000 under false pretenses, the release said.

Muggle was processed at the State Police Wickford Barracks, arraigned and released, police said.
