Bristol PD: NJ Man Fled Bar, 'Mooned' Cops
Bristol Police allege that Charles Woods, of Demarest, NJ, fled from a local bar after a disturbance and vandalized a holding cell at the police station.

A New Jersey man is due for a pretrial hearing on March 29 following his March 8 arrest for causing trouble at a local bar and vandalizing a Bristol Police station holding cell.
Local officers arrested Charles Woods, of Demarest, NJ, on one count each of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and two counts of vandalism on March 8 at 12:30 am following a reported disturbance at the British Beer Company on State Street.

According to police reports, officers found Woods at Colt Andrews School, after a bartender told them that Woods had fled the scene.
While in holding cell 2 at the station, Woods put his shirt in the toilet and later threw the wet shirt against the door, according to police reports.

Officers also reported seeing Woods take off his pants and "moon" the surveillance camera in the cell; throw toilet paper against the wall; and spit at the camera.
Woods pleaded not guilty at his March 8 arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, and is under supervision of the Rhode Island pre-trial unit. He is due for a pretrial hearing on March 29.
