A Pawtucket man is due for arraignment on Sept. 18 on a charge of falsely reporting a crime following his arrest byĀ Bristol Police.

Officers went to a home on Michael Drive on Sept. 6 at about 12:45 p.m. and spoke withĀ Wilson Gonzalez, 48, of 151 Armistice Blvd., who said that he'd been "tied up and robbed" about 45 min. before, according to police reports.

After interviewing Wilson at police headquarters, officers reported that he admitted to trying to make it look as though he'd been robbed by messing up the home and tying himself to a bedpost.

Justice of the PeaceĀ Anthony J. Bucci released Wilson on personal recognizance until his next hearing in Sixth District Court.
