Bristol Police Log: Dunkin' Theft, Slashed Tires, Egged Car

The Bristol Police Department reported the following recent arrests and incidents:

  • Christopher Fasano, 46, of 66 Sherman Ave., on Feb. 25 at about 1:15 pm on a warrant issued by Sixth District Court, Warwick, with failure to appear at a payment review on a charge of driving with a suspended license brought by Warren Police. He is next scheduled to appear for an ability to pay hearing on March 18. He owes $94.50 in court costs, according to online court records.
  • Michael Jodoin, 39, of 910 Hope St., with driving with a suspended license, on Feb. 25 at about 4 pm. He had been serving a one-year suspended sentence and one year's probation following a no-contest plea in August, 2012, to a charge of unlawful appropriation brought by Barrington Police. Jodoin was due to appear at a sentencing review yesterday. He is also awaiting trial in Superior Court, Newport, on felony charges of obtaining money under false pretenses and unlawful appropriation; no further information was available at the end of business on Wednesday.
  • Fernanda Almeida, 51, of 18 Wilson St., with larceny under $1,500 from the Dunkin' Donuts at 416 Metacom Ave., on Feb. 26 at about 6 pm.
  • Nicholas Stone, 33, of 82 Middle St., East Providence, with DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test, on Feb. 27 at about 1 am. He was due for formal arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, yesterday; no further information was available at the end of business on Wednesday.
  • Damon Newton, 25, of 1 Murphy Ave., on Feb. 28 at about 12:30 am with violating a no-contact order imposed following his arrest in July, 2012, on charges of domestic assault and domestic vandalism. Newton had previously pleaded no contest to one count of violating a no-contact order in September, 2012; Judge Robert K. Pirraglia sentenced Newton to 30 days in prison for violating terms of probation set in that case. Pirraglia also sentenced Newton to another 30-day sentence for violating terms of probation set in the initial case, and a 10-day sentence on the new charge following Newton's plea of no contest on Feb. 28. Newton is next due in court on June 4 for an ability to pay hearing.
  • James Pissantino, 49, of 118 Beach Road, with failure to stop, accident resulting with damage to other vehicles, on Feb. 28 at about 9 pm on Hope Street.
  • Jeremy Schilder, 18, of 22 Pawson Road, Branford, CT, with marijuana possession, first offense, on Feb. 28 at about 11:45 pm on the campus of Roger Williams University.
  • Nicholas Souza, 22, of 130 Pocasset St., Somerset, MA, with disorderly conduct, on March 2 at 1:45 am on Chilton Street.
  • Michael Pine, 43, of 30 Punch Bowl Trail, Richmond, withdriving with a suspended license, on March 2 at about 10 am. He is due for formal arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on March 13.
  • Juan Eduardo, 27, of 105 Academy Ave., Providence, with driving with a suspended license, following a car accident with injuries on March 2 at about 10:30 pm. He is due for formal arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on March 13.
  • Christopher Cornwell, 19, of 2652 West Buck Road, East Greenville, PA, and Benjamin Loguidice, 19, of 621 Warner, Southport, CT, with one count each of underage drinking, on March 2 at about 11 pm.
  • Shawn Cheever, 25, of 516A 3rd Beach Road, Middletown, with disorderly conduct, on March 3 at about 12:45 am. He is due for formal arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on March 13.
  • Matthew Steinhauer, 20, of 1 Old Ferry Road, with transportation of alcohol by a minor and failing to have his license in his possession, on March 3 at about 11:30 pm.
  • Taylor McDade, 20, of 79 Staniford St., Auburndale, MA, with underage drinking, on March 3 at about 11:30 pm.
  • Ryan Skerritt, 22, of 79 Franklin St., with driving with a suspended license, on March 4 at about 12:45 am. He is due for formal arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on March 13.

Other reports:

An anonymous caller reported seeing a white Toyota being driven in the area of Scott Lane and Primrose Drive and the driver using a flashlight to look around the homes there, on Feb. 28 at about 8 pm. Officers spoke with the driver of the car, who was looking for their lost dog.

Officers reported finding a car with two slashed tires on Rover Street on March 1 at about 7:30 am.

A resident of Washington Street reported the apparent thieft of a flagpole on March 1 at about 11 am.

The car belonging to a resident of Addy Drive was apparently egged between 9 pm on March 1 and 4 am on March 2, when the owner discovered the apparent vandalism.
