Bristol Ranked Best Memorial Day Destination In Northeast

BRISTOL, RI — Bristol was recently ranked the best Memorial Day destination in the Northeast. Travel site TripsToDiscover included Bristol at the top of its "10 Great Memorial Day Weekend Getaways in the Northeast" survey. It was the only Rhode Island community to make the cut.

"Bristol is a great little waterfront town with an All-American vibe and a lovely downtown area with shops and restaurants," TripsToDiscover author Alyssa Ochs wrote. "You can visit Colt State Park and the Narragansett Bay ... and take a scenic ride on the East Bay Bike Path."

The site highlighted Bristol's annual Memorial Day parade, set for Monday.
