Nature: Blithewold Mansion, Gardens, and Arboretum begins its February vacation program for kids in grades 1 to 4. Day rate $40 members/$45 nonmembers; half-day $25. Space is limited.

Film: The Providence Children's Film Festival continues today — click here for the calendar of movies and showings. $7.50 adults/$4 kids.

Performance: Children’s singer and storyteller Keith Munslow takes the stage at Providence Children's Museum for performances at 11:30 am and 1 and 2 pm. For ages 3 and older; free with $8.50-per-person admission.

Animals: Roger Williams Park Zoo is open during the winter — and admission is half-price. Adults $7.50, children ages 3 to 12 $4.95, under 3 free.
