BRISTOL, RI — Those traveling in Bristol this week will need to be aware of detours, as crews trim tree branches away from power lines.

Bristol police said Stanley Tree Services will be trimming branches in the northbound lane of Hope Street between Constitution Street and Washington Street. Police said the trimming will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Detours will be in place when possible.
