DUIs, Vandalism By Teens, 'Cookie Mishap,' Family of Possum Found

The Warren Police Department reported the following recent arrests and incidents:

Arrested:

• Adelino Vieira, 46, of 78 Child St., on a charge of driving with a suspended license, following a stop on Metacom Avenue on Apr. 15 at about 1:30 pm. He is scheduled for arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on Apr. 26.
• Allison Mathews, 48, of 146 County Road, Barrington, on a charge of driving with a suspended license, following a stop on Main Street on Apr. 15 at about 4:15 pm. She is scheduled for arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on Apr. 26.
• Two juveniles, ages 15 and 16, on one count each of conspiracy. Officers also charged the 16-year-old with vandalism after a window on a Main Street property was found broken on Apr. 16 at about 9 am. The teens were released to their parents.
• Tina Gonzalez, 32, of 146 Main St., on a charge of violating a no-contact order, on Apr. 17 at about 6:30 pm. She is scheduled for arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on Apr. 26.
• Mark Lacharite, 48, of 20 Union St., on a charge of disorderly conduct on Apr. 17 at about 8:15 pm. He is scheduled for arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on Apr. 26.

• Cody Cabral, 20, of 15 Munroe Ave., Bristol, on a charge of driving with a suspended license following a stop at Market Street and Grove Avenue on Apr. 19 at about 11 pm. He had been serving one years' probation imposed following a no contest plea on March 6 on a charge of driving with a suspended license brought by Bristol Police. Cabral also owes $840 in court costs from two other previous charges of driving with a suspended license.
• Donald Rainville, 27, of 43 Foster St., New Bedford, MA, on charges of DUI, refusal to submit to a chemical test, and resisting arrest, following a stop at Child and Brady Streets on Apr. 20 at about 1 am. He is scheduled for arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on Apr. 26.
• Jennifer Harris, 32, of 46 Warren Ave., on a charge of driving with a suspended license, on Apr. 20 at about 10 pm.
• Eugene Zommer Jr., 33, of 76 Powhatan St., Warwick, on a charge of DUI, first offense, following a stop on Metacom Avenue on Apr. 21 at about 1 am. He is scheduled for arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on Apr. 26.
• Ashley Foerstel, 21, of 50 Green St., Pawtucket, on charges of driving with a suspended license and obstructing police, following a suspicious person report received on Apr. 21 at about 2 am. She is scheduled for arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on May 10.
• Antonio Bolarinho, 38, of 25 Winter St., Taunton, MA, on charges of DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test, following a traffic stop on Wilbur Avenue on Apr. 21 at about 5:30 pm. He waived extradition at a hearing on Apr. 21, and is scheduled for arraignment in Sixth District Court, Warwick, on May 10.

Other reports:

• Police reported a fire on Apr. 15 at about 11:30 pm on Main Street that was apparently caused by what was described as a "cookie mishap."
• A woman reported her laptop stolen on Apr. 16 at about 4:45 pm.
• Officers found spray paint on the south side of a building on Main Street on Apr. 17 at about 1 am. Police reports note that the officers contacted Hiram Jamiel Sr. to advise him of the matter.
• A man reported that he found a bicycle on Brown Street on Apr. 17 at about 9:45 am. Officers secured the bike at headquarters.
• On Apr. 18, officers responded to a residence on Market Street for a report of a tenant returning a year after he'd been evicted and asking about mail that may have been delivered there. With no mail found at the apartment, officers ordered the man to leave the property.
• Police received a call about two bicycles stolen from an address on Main Street on Apr. 18 at about 1:45 pm.
• Officers responded to Park Street on Apr. 20 at about 10:30 am to disperse a group of juveniles who were playing paintball in the area.
• Following an animal complaint called into police on Apr. 20 at about 12:45 pm, the Warren Animal Control officer returned a pit bull to its owner on Child Street.
• On Apr. 20 at about 3:30 pm, officers dispersed someone who had fallen asleep in the grass at Liberty Street School.
• A resident of Wood Street called police on Apr. 21 at about 12 noon to report finding a possum and its babies in a box located in their garage.
