BRISTOL, RI—A woman sought by police for a felony embezzlement charge turned herself in to police over the weekend.

Corey E. Delekta, 34, of Pawtucket, turned herself in on Saturday and is currently being held at the Adult Correctional Institutions in Cranston.

Court records show Delekta was charged with a similar crime in 2012 for her theft of money from an East Greenwich restaurant where she was employed.

In that case, she stole $700 cash from a petty cash box and racked up personal charges on a company credit card. She also allegedly collected money from fellow employees to send flowers to another employee after a death in the family but pocketed the money instead.

In all, Delekta is facing charges of felony embezzlement, forgery and counterfeiting, fraudulent use of a credit card, felony obtaining money under false pretenses and accessing a computer for fraud purposes.

Court records show that Delekta will appear in court on Tuesday for the aforementioned screening conference and will be arraigned in Sixth Division District Court on April 5.
